About The Honda Step Wagon RF 2001 - 2005
The second generation Honda
Step Wagon that was introduced in 2001 with similar design features of the
first generation. Honda Step Wagon second generation was designed for the
family with children marketplace. With numerous seating provisions namely Food
Mode wherever individuals sit in front of each other with the ideal of making
the centre seat as an improvised table, Playing Mode option where individuals
sit opposite each other, it also has a Sleep Mode option where the seat can
become flatten like a bed for comfort and Cargo Mode where the rear seats are
folded in order to give more room space for cargo. Honda has retained the
sliding door mechanism from preceding generation model. Honda Step Wagon had a
facelift in 2003 where the front and rear exterior were upgraded to look
similar to the other Honda vehicles.
Honda Step Wagon second
generation has retained the 2.0 litre K20A i-VTEC Petrol engine with some
upgrades from preceding generation to make more fuel efficiency and better
performance. Also in 2003 Honda announced an upgraded 2.4 Petrol K24A engine.
